Website Visitors
When you visit our website and view pages, no personal information personal of any kind is collected about you.
Contact Us form of our website: If you sign up for additional information or fill in our Contact Us form, we will need your email address and other information in order to reply to you in the manner you choose to put in the comments section of the Contact Us form. The information you provide will be kept confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than for us to get in contact with you.
Special Requests: If you make a special request for information using the Contact Us form provided, the information you submit will be kept in the Kalena Mamas Artisan Works Inc., database asa reference to your order or future order. Your request will be made available to those artists you need information from, so they can answer your request or questions. However your personal contact information will NOT be given out, nor do we sign you up for mailing lists or advertisements from us or anyone else. If you choose to respond to our artists who answer your request, you can then send him/her your contact information, if you choose to do so.
Purchases: If you purchase products on our website, we will collect enough personal information about you to ship you with the product(s) you order. The information you provide will be kept confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than the one(s) you have authorized. Once you’ve made a purchase from us, you will have the ability to update your account information, change your log-in information or request to be removed from our database entirely.
Shipping: Shipping is calculated in the shopping cart automatically based on the weight and dimensions of the total products consumers may purchase. Most orders will ship via USPS Priority Mail, either by weight/zone or Flat Rate for larger orders. Small orders will ship via USPS First Class. For really large orders or several gift baskets, please contact us prior to ordering for a shipping quote. We reserve the right to add an additional shipping surcharge for large Flat Rate boxes that weigh over 20 lbs and are going to military bases or US territories off shore. We’ll contact you to confirm, of course.
I also reserve the right to refund or ship additional product to offset any difference in shipping between our online shipping calculator and actual shipping costs. For example, if our system calculates shipping to be a Large Flat Rate Box ($24.00), but we can fit it in a Medium FR Box ($16.50), we can either refund the difference or add an extra bar of soap in your package. 🙂
Consumers
All personal information supplied by current, past or potential consumers is considered confidential and will not be released or used for any purpose other than to contact the consumer and/or fulfill the obligations to provide products and information to the consumer. Such services may include mail, email or phone contact and/or forwarding information to the consumer. In no case will contact information be given to any person or entity for any non Kalena Mamas Artisan Works, Inc., related activity or sales.
Shopping Cart Purchases
When you make a purchase through the Kalena Mamas Artisan Works, Inc., shopping cart, you provide us with the information necessary to deliver the products and/or services to you. Credit card information is not collected by the Kalena Mamas Artisan Works; payments by credit card and/ or Paypal are completed through a secure, external service.

Sales tax is collected for Colorado and Kansas resident orders.
Mailing Lists
We use don’t do newsletters or general mailings to our clients. However, should we decide to do so in the future we would have an option for our consumers to opt-out of any mailings we do.
Security of Information
In the course of performing sales transactions for our consumers, some individuals may have access to sensitive information. Therefore, any artist listed on the Kalena Mamas Artisan Works, Inc., website must comply with Kalena Mamas Artisan Works, Inc. Policy “Privacy Procedures” which includes the following guidelines:
- No paper documents with sensitive information may be kept any longer than absolutely needed, and when kept, must be stored securely.
- All paper documents containing sensitive information must be shredded or burned (not tossed in the trash) once they are no longer needed.
- No credit card information may ever be sent by e-mail, under any circumstances.
- When viewing sensitive information online, appropriate security precautions should be taken, including an up-to-date firewall, especially when viewing documents through a public network (as in a hotel or library).
- Reasonable precautions must be taken to protect any sensitive information on a personal computer, including password protecting access to the area, making the computer files inaccessible to others (file sharing), etc.
- Any electronic files on a local computer containing sensitive or personal information must be deleted after work is complete and the recycle bin emptied on a regular basis.
- No private or sensitive information may be discussed with any unauthorized person for any reason.
Privacy Violations
In the event an artist, employee, sub-contractor or volunteer discovers that any sensitive information in their control has fallen into unauthorized hands, the matter must be reported to the President of Kalena Mamas Artisan Works, Inc., immediately.
Any person who feels their privacy has been violated in some way by Kalena Mamas Artisan Works, Inc. should report the matter to the President of Kalena Mamas Artisan Works, Inc.
